Romanians are people who were born in Romania yet migrated to North America. Over 55% of all Romanian foreign born arrived in North America after 1980.
They speak Romanian. They are closely related, yet still a distinct people group in their own right, to the Moldovian people who also speak Romanian. Children of Romanian parents often learn to speak both in Romanian fluently.
