South Asian Indians are an ethnic cluster of various people groups found in the country of India. India is home to over 800 distinct people groups. The density map covers all foreign born from India in North America. India is geo-graphically large with people bathing in the Ganges in Varanasi, and Rishikesh as a yoga centre and a base for Himalayan trekking.
The national trade language of India is Hindi. However, the majority of people speak their distinct people groups language, whether that be Gujarati, Telegu, Tamil, Kannada, or another language.
As a cluster of people groups, South Asians adhere to Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, Jainism, and serveral other religions.
South Asians are one of the largest dispersed people in the world. They are found in almost every country the world with them leaving their mark on their new homelands. The economy, health, arts, media and culture have all been affected in some way.
