English Gypsies are certain groups of nomads, and may mean: Romanichals, or English Gypsies of Romani origin. Historically, people have both romanticized and formed negative steretypes views of Gypsies.

Some would characterize them as lazy and lawless, along with being unsanitary and a host of other stereotypes. However, such views do no justice as to who English Gypsies really are.

Romanichals are a Romani sub-group from the United Kingdom and other parts of the English-speaking world.

They are closely related to the Welsh Kale and to other Romani groups in the United Kingdom and continental Europe. Romanichal are found across the United Kingdom, particularly England, Lowland Scotland and Wales.

They claim Christianity as their religious adherence.
